Andrew Young
Ambassador to the United Nations
Mayor of Atlanta
United States Congressman
Associate of Martin Luther King
Born March 12, 1932
He is truly a gentleman, respected by all for his work taking the United States out of its segregrated past into its diversified present. His interview allows us to reflect on the work done by him and a small band of others. A lifelong fan of music of his native New Orleans, he tells us of an encounter with the Klan in 1964, and how singing held off a riot. He says, "We basically fostered a revolution around song."
